I couldn't find them in the simplified Scott and SG catalogs.

Good day,

Yes, these are revenue stamps of Bangladesh. These stamps were used to pay for some sort of insurance. But which kind of insurance, I don't know.

Bima means insurance (second word on green stamp).
Bima phi means insurance fee (bottom line orange stamp).

The green stamp is 1 Taka (third sentence on green stamp).
The orange stamp is 5 Taka (middle of orange stamp).

The Taka is the currency of Bangladesh.

Greetings.

Wow. Thanks for the detailed and invested answer.
I guess it is in Sanskrit, so your translation will apply to India stamps too? I will copy your image and add a table of Sanskrit numbers for future stamps.

The language on Bangladesh stamps is Bengali (also known as Bangla). A war was fought over its acceptance instead of Urdu.

The language is indeed Bengali.
I have some stamps of Bangladesh myself.
I like to decipher foreign languages and with a little help of Google Translate the meaning of most of the words can be found
