Perforation holes look smaller on the left side. It appears that perforations may have been added to left side with a guide line that originally was an imperforate straight edge.

Clearly not a guideline, which would have been absolutely straight.
No doubt a plate crack.

Plate cracks are known on this issue and French illustrates several examples, though they do not seem to match this one. Your stamp almost assuredly has the line from a plate crack in the left margin.

Hi wtcrowe, Cloudy did not have any idea like me what is going on this one.

I found a lot of varieties in the Washington/Franklin head stamps when I worked at a stamp shop. It was an excellent edcation with varieties.

Is this the rare "green line error" we've all been looking for?

Interesting stamp, but the small perforation holes don't look right.

Not only do the perforation holes look suspect, so does the "plate crack". I have quite an extensive collection of plate cracks and have never seen one like this. It could very well have been a guide line for a large sheet that did not print well for some reason.
Seam lines on coils sometimes look like this as well.
