These cancels are on a pair of scott 157. with a circular Boston Mass. cancel. I can't identify the fancy cancels. I posted these a while back in regards to the alignment mark left on the first stamp.

Try looking up by state (you can sort by city by clicking on 'city' heading or perhaps lookup by 'Type' and try shield? There are over 5000 cancels, so it might take a while.

The closest I could find was AN-7 a horse head, but theirs is looking the other way. And the town it was from was North Hampton. I had tried shields in my fancy cancels book with no luck also.

Not sure if this helps. But I see a ship. In one I can make out a flag off the top of the mast.

Kinda like looking at clouds though.

Not all cancels are fancy. A blob is a blob, is a blob, and no amount of imagination will make it a fancy cancel.
