This guy is showing NSDA and APS logos, no ID numbers, probably not a member of either. I am not not a member, myself, so, I would request
any of you here, whom are, to contact APS and report this faker...

@DISIi123, are you saying he somehow faked this stamp?

I spent an hour this morning, looking at the sellers stamps, this is a type of dealer I really like.

The seller has misidentified a few items.
The seller has unrecognized plate varieties for sale (nothing outstanding or unusual at this time)
The seller has some faulty materials for sale where the faults are not mentioned, but this seems to be normal for other sellers today.

I want to thank you for bring this seller to my attention. Hope to hope some day there will be a new item offered like unrecognized plate varieity that I can pick up for a song, or a misidentified stamp going for a song!

It's a faked 388 as they all are... no need for further explanation.

With my limited ability I see nothing wrong. I looked at his other items and it kind of reminds me of my ebay listings.

Can you point what makes you think it is a fake. I just don't know what to look for so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Robert

Buying a #388 without either being an expert like Clark or having a cert is a fool's errand.

Thank you Don. Most folks here do not know this, and your explanation is great. I wished folks would not post these things as puzzles since we have a lot of younger / starter collectors.
Also, the seller may not know what is going on here.

The bidding started at $1.99 and the seller may not know it is a fake? LOL
