Good Evening Everyone,

Please see the scan below. I'm wondering if there is a roulette / imperforate type out there for the 1884-85 Argentina 12c stamp. The back of the stamp has a heavy hinge but the stamp still has gum.

Thanks for looking.

Holy cow rod222... you're a genius. Is it worth anything? - LOL, mine looks rouletted and imperforate...

Essay
12 c., lithographed, ultramarine.
It exists imperforate, perf. 12 1/2, and rouletted about 20

I doubt it, (Not that I would know, though)
Going by Earee's "Weeds"
I just took mine as one of many.

I'd suggest (Guess) that any stamps of value in this genre, would be mentioned in catalogues.

I agree, you have a "hint" of rouletting left hand side, but tough to call.

A quick look at the LH margin with a x10 hand lens will tell you definitively whether there are roulettes. You will see the tear-points on the tips of the roulettes. The upper half looks rouletted but it's not easy to tell.

Thank you very much.
It would be nice if you could indicate your source, for our records.
Cheers

This is an unadopted essay, made by a man named Jacobsen. It is not scarce, its market value is approx. $10
They exist perforated and imperforated.
Actually in my web page http://jalilstamps.com I have them in offer at $6 each (see items 16889 & 16890).
Best regards, Guillermo
