Your page is from a very old guide.Just look at the cross on top of the crown; it is way too the right of the "T"!.Many things are missing.;and on the whole useless for modern day use. Many old references omitted the
compiled characteristics by specialized philatelists over the last
decades...sorry that is not enough for me..

We are quickly leaving my area of knowledge on Tuscany stamps. I thought the "cross" referred to in literature was the cross on the shield? At this point I'd recommend that the original poster submit these for certification from a reputable expert and report back after certificate is in hand.

Stallzer, the value of this stamps are not very important, maybe in Usa is dificult to find this kind os stamps, here in europe, specially in Italy there is thousands of them. The 3 lire yellow maybe is diferent, but this one I think there is more genuine than gorgeries.
Thanks for your apretiation.

Can I ask one of the readers here to capture this blue stamp and put it in a scan with the original posters stamp next to it and let everybody see the difference . I don't have that ability with this computer . Please take the second stamp in the first posting and match it up to my stamp.

I wouldn't get the certification for valuation of stamps, simply for authenticity. For perf12, thanks for posting the images / pages, very helpful.

Don't judge this stamp because of watermarks because my type VII forgery has a watermark pressed into the paper on the back .

I think you have eyes, the watermark pressen is evident in the paper, and the postmark is thypical of that forgeries. The color and the lines in the stamps are evident forgeries. Sorry but you must to accept the true.
But thanks for all your information.
