Who can read the Japanese postal markings on this cover mailed from the 1893 World's Fair?

I certainly can't read the Japanese, but it sure makes for a different and interesting cover. Time to bump this up with Columbus Day just around the corner!

Here's a 2 cent Columbian used to uprate a stamped envelope, though I guess if it was only used to pay for added weight it wouldn't really be an uprate, or would it? The Binghamton receiver stamp appears to be 1893.

Thanks nuggethill, and nice cover modern_who!

Here is a 30c Columbian cover which is a late usage by a stamp dealer at a time when Columbians were considered scrap postage.

Here's another cover with the common 2 cent Columbian. What makes this one different is the artistic flair with which the sender addressed it.

There was also a set of stamped envelopes issued in 1893 with Columbus and Liberty. Scott doesn't say whether or not they corresponded with the Columbian Exposition, but the 1893 issue date is the same. Like the 2 cent stamp, the 2 cent envelope is the most common.

This one has a corner card from a business in nearby Richfield Springs.

I like the artistic flair cover! Is that one sold?

Here is an 1893 8c Columbian cover that went from Talahassee to Melbourne, Australia and back again.

It is a little beat up but I love all the markings on it, especially the finger.
