This FDC along with a few similar were in an auction lot I recently purchased. The foil "sticker" cachet doesn't reproduce well with my scanner: the background is a shiny silver color, making me think the entire cachet is made out of some sort of foil.

Do any of you FDC specialists happen to know who created this FDC?

Ross Wetreich created the cover under the line of Ross Foil with #1426 being the first made.

This is a Ross foil cachet and can be found on James T. McCusker FDC site along with several other of his covers.
