Hello, just a memory today. Nearly 10 years ago (25th October 2007) the first commercial A380 took off from Singapore for Sydney. I was on it and carried some of our cddstamps First Flight Covers. This one from the return flight, the first commercial A380 flight from Sydney to Singapore, and nicely signed by so many of the lovely Singapore Airlines Cabin Crew. Those 10 years went so fast. Sadly I will not be able to be in Singapore for the 10th anniversary party because I will be in London but I will be thinking of the event.

Enjoy your aerophilately

Have a great weekend Michael

Great cover, superb souvenir of a historic flight made possible by British built wings from the factory here in North East Wales.

Hi Michael
Yes Broughton. Have worked there now for almost 40 years, at one time or another on all Airbus types & variants. Nowadays just on A380.
We see Beluga every day at the factory, sometimes two at once. The current flight path usually takes it directly over my house. During my time on A300 we made the wings for the current Beluga. As you may know, a new extended Beluga is now in build, based on A330 wings, due to fly next year. Drop me a line when you are coming to Broughton, we can meet up and talk aircraft and stamps!
Regards
DavidR
