I saw this #11 strip of three at a recent stamp show, and although it has multiple faults, with bad margins in some places, I had to bring it home for the spacing variety.
I plated the stamps as 95L4, 96L4, and 97L4, and the color is 1857 claret.
Carroll Chase stated that the closest spacing on any plate is between 95 and 96L4, measuring 1/5 mm at the nearest point between adjacent frame lines, whereas the distance between 96 and 97L4 is 1-1/4 mm, more than 6 times the space.
Just wanted to show this because I found the spacing interesting, especially in light of the famous "Three Rows" of the left pane of plate 3, since it was this kind of bad spacing that inspired the workers of plate 3 to omit or add frame lies to make the bad spacing less noticeable.
