I have an inverted Jenny using a simple black background. This is Windows 7 and I keep my task bar at top with minimal stuff on desktop.

I do as most of you -- I have dual monitors on my Windows 10 (Office) Machine and I have a library of scans that randomly shift as wallpaper. My left monitor is cluttered with icons. This morning, the right monitor looks like this:

By the way, I freely confess to "stealing" images from this forum for my library. Most of them come from the "Collecting by Engraver" thread.

My desktop features an image of one of my computer generated collages...(no stamps were damaged in the process!) I have made a number of collages featuring stamps...this is my homage to Decaris collage...can you figure out the stamp sources? |

I'm a bit OCD about keeping my desktop clear of clutter. I keep all my shortcuts either in the dock at bottom, the taskbar at top, or in my iMac's launchpad. Across the bottom I keep shortcuts to the apps I use most often in my stamp work -- Photoshop, InDesign, PMGS StampFix, Fetch (FTP app), NameChanger (bulk file renamer), and my Epson scanner. I also have a shortcut (the gold-colored one near the right of the dock) that fans out to show PDF copies of the Michel catalogs I use on a daily basis. It's really handy for quick access to my catalogs. |

I believe in a clean desktop. If I could delete the recycle bin, I would. The picture is one I took while hiking in Alaska. |

rlsny, Looks like you are using Windows 10, to remove Recycle Bin from desktop... 1. Select the Start button, then select Settings 2. Select Personalization > Themes > Desktop icon settings 3. Select the Recycle Bin check box > Apply Don |

Where I spent my honeymoon in the Maldive Islands. Arrow indicates Post Office; I dispatched 10 covers home from there and all arrived. |

Is it safe to broadcast all the programs one uses?
I must be Dorothy the Dinosaur, my Desktop is cluttered with 60 or so programs, However I never work from there, I work from a File / Folder every day, with all my special programs located in the "Quick launch bar" Every download / scan I make, drops into that special File / Folder.
