The stamp in the image below exhibits a flaw running at an angle to the northwest from the Queensland coast.

This variety does not appear in my 1988 and 1996 versions. Both do, however, show a variety in the 2d value (K5h in 1988, 7e in 1996) retouched in the same place as my 1d variety.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Frank.

Thanks, Rod. It's nice to see it is a recognized variety. Does you documentation give plate and position info?

Frank.

Many thanks, Rod. I hadn't notices the line breaks above and below the "N" but once you know they are there . . .
