Yeah, it's annoying. There's a particular seller on both
ebay and stamps2go that just LOVES to scan his stamps on bright fluorescent yellow, pink, and orange backgrounds, and it skews the colors horribly, either in the TWAIN software or in the viewer's eyes.
I'm sure he thinks he's being innovative.
The only backgrounds that should ever be used when imaging stamps are black or white, in that order of preference. Obviously if the stamp is on cover or document, you don't have much choice in the matter, but for Pete's sake, do NOT scan using brightly colored backgrounds.
