I have a 1972 French cover from Paris to "Bremerhaven, R.F.A." What is R.F.A.? (Republique Federale Allemagne, perhaps?) Thanks for your response.

It would be useful to have a scan, front and back (if anything is there). Giving such a minimal amount of information requires finding someone who knows exactly what that is.

Thank you for your response, JPMG; yes my wife and I retired to France from the U.S. 7 years ago.
