Carmen on white. The carmen in this series varies from deep brick red to orange with many variations. The white paper runs from blue white to creamy white. Toning, which is not uncommon, produces a hint of brown to full brown but look inside, but it is still white. NOTE: toning does occur on other colors of paper. NOTE2: toning is the result of exposure to environmental factors, especially sunlight.
