Normally we say that buying proprietary roulettes as multiples is the safest way to go about them... not so much in this case. Some enterprising shyster took 2 oversized RB17b and "revised" them, making sure the edges of the 2 stamps that were to go together to form the multiple aligned with one another.

However, they are far too crude and the vertical edges wander too much to be a real roulette.

Sorry, but I think that this pair just got wet at some point, and the paper didn't dry "straight."

I'd have to see it in person to be sure of course, but this pair doesn't scream "fake" to me.

Look at the edge between the 2 stamps. I wouldn't buy this with someone else's money.

The bottom edge is just as bad. You've got both indents and outdents, which you would NOT see on a real roulette.

Fakes can be fun! I've started researching and collecting the Newspaper & Periodical stamps. The fakes and facsimiles are a rich field all to themselves.

What about the 4 visible perfs on the bottom edge starting below the "C" in "Cents" and moving to the right?

I tried to add arrows to the downloaded jpg but I don't have any software on my home computer that seems to have that ability...

It looks like the top stamp is leaning to the left in the OP. Looks fake to me.....but I'm not the expert.

Margins look pretty straight to me when the tilt has been removed from the top stamp.

You mean these?

Three cent pair on top, six cent pair on bottom.

Well, perhaps I stand corrected and it's genuine... Just extremely ugly. I still don't like the way the sides meander.

I don't disagree.

But I still got married somehow, nonetheless.
