I'm watching an auction on ebay for a postcard, and I'm having trouble with a small snippet of handwriting. It was clearly written by "Kurt," but I'm having trouble with the other two words.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Herzlich gruss--something. Umlaut on the u. Not sure about the ending. Herzlich grussens--maybe(?)-warmest greetings If that makes sense.

Thanks, John. That's the entirety of the message, so that makes sense.

But in grammatically correct German that would have to be "Herzliche Grüße".

I think the most likely reading would be "Herzl[ichen] Glückwunsch" (roughly meaning "Congratulations"), though it doesn't really look like it.

Reads like: Herzl. Grussend Kurt.

Kind Regards, Kurt. The French use Avec Cordialement I believe.

I am no German expert but I believe it is: Herzliche grusse or Herzlich grussend. I believe grusse is a noun and grussend is a verb.

Kind Regards, Johan.

Johan is right, it's probably "Herzlich grüssend" which just means something similar like "sending warm regards". And yes, it's not correct as it must say "grüßend", but language is not something stable:
