I hope someone can help me out with this.

This stamp came in a lot I purchased on ebay

It had the lacquer varnish of a SC #87, but there's no listing for an Imperf version of this stamp on for #68 which has the same design.
There's also no listing for it in South Russia, which was my next thought.
Anyone have any ideas as where to look next?

Thanks,
Jon

I have a Russian language catalogue at home I can check it for you!

Also, South Russia is not a country, but a philatelic watershed to hold 4 different regional governments that operated in that region at that time.

I agree Scott #131, The only imperfs listed 68c, which has no watermark, the one you show appears to have a diamond pattern watermark. Issued by the Provisional All Russian Central Executive Committee, pre-Soviet government.

Thank you very much guys,

I missed that listing for #131. Sometime I find the listings in Scott a little confusing. I have to remember to continue up the numbers further.
