Good day

I came across this German stamp in a large collection of old German Stamps and cannot find any catalogue references for this stamp. Is there perhaps someone who knows something about this stamp?

Regards

I beleive it's Scott 284(1923).The overprint is some sort of publicity for a stamp marketplace in Leipzig..
Here is one from Regensburg;a bit different..

During the hyperinflation period, many stamps quickly became worthless for postage, so businesses and organizations would overprint them as advertisements. This one is advertising the Leipzig Stamp Exchange Association.

A lot of the stamps of Germany from that era are known with 'private' overprints and are considered as 'cinderella' type stamps.
