Can Anyone Tell Me About These Inverted Pair Of German Stamps?

These stamps came in a ebay lot I won a few years ago. I have not been able to identify the origin or current value. I think they were a special edition for a stamp fair in Munich around 1921. They still have the gum on the back, so in effect mint/unused.

The cancellation reads MUNCHEN; 2te; INTERNAT.BRIEFMARKEN; HDL.TAG; 7.5.21.11-12V; DPS; VER.BAYER.BRIEFM.HDL.E.V.

These stamps are a pair from a sheet that was produced to be made into panes for booklets.

The panes were printed in sheets and then put into booklets, this of course did not always happen as sheets got into collectors hands, they immidiatly started to create pairs like the one you have. Not how it was supposed to be, but you cannot blaim the collectors for taking this chance.

The picture shows part of such a sheet as shown in the michel catalogue. in the red I indicated the pane that should go into the booklet in yellow I indicated the pair that was created and that you have.

It is K3 in the Michel catalogue. value used or unused is not high.
