I have this block of four that I'm pretty sure must be a forgery since I just couldn't get that lucky. Tell me what you think. Also what shade do you think this is?

They're nice, and I think they're more like unofficial reprints.

Colour-wise, I would think that they are almost an Apple Green, but scans seldom come out in the exact shade that they are in reality.

OG, they are very nice, quite good, but not the originals (but pretty good). There were numerous forgeries/reprint. For the particular one you have, I've highlighted 2 easy to spot differences below (differs from denomination and different forgeries, so don't apply these rules to all).

Top left stamp is genuine #10a, top right stamp is genuine #10b.
Sorry, the scans are older, so not very high quality.

The bottom two stamps are the bottom row from your block of 4.

Circled in black, note the level of the colored bar compared to the point of the shield at left. In the originals for THIS design and denomination (1/3g), the top of the bar is above the point. In yours, it is below the point.

Circled in red, the E in "Ein" tilts toward left. In yours, it is relatively vertical.

Although I can't measure directly, I think your margins are too wide compared to the originals. The full margins on the originals are 1mm for the green on white paper, 1.5mm for the black on green paper.

Still, a nice block that's great as a space-filler.
