I recently viewed a holding of a friend who would like to part with a small collection he built during the 1930s to 1950s of worldwide stamps with a focus on Great Britain and Commonwealth. He's English and getting on in years and would like to sell the collection. It's a fairly diverse collection reaching back to the 1850s through the mid-1950s.

Can anybody recommend a buyer for a fairly small holding (approx. 1,000 - 2,000 mostly used and some mint stamps)?

At a rough guess, this sound like a bohood collection augmented somewhat over time, rather than something likely to include the high values that would generate some cash. As such, ebay, accompanied by decent photos of the better-filled/earlier pages, is the likeliest venue. Perhaps you could show us some of the earlier pages on his behalf.

I collect KGVI MH by country. My preference is to complete a country before moving on to the next.
