I used to think I knew what the term "sound" meant, in reference to stamp condition. With the advent of ebay, "sound" has a rather nebulous meaning. A stamp can be chopped, torn, thinned, or completely obliterated by a blob of ink...and it is still described by the seller as "sound".

I bet one could argue it is in the same condition as it was sold by US Postal Office. They just cut it wrong when separating from sheet. So sorta like a misperf'ed stamp. Ha.

And it could be yours for $251.95! Another entirely over priced stamp from Momen.

It grades 90 on the Momen scale; 90% of it is still there!
