Hi,

Found 11 stamps in an old book, 4 have been used, I'm not interested in keeping these, Deutrches Reich 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 20 millionen. What are they worth?

Alas I am battling to upload a picture from iPhone sorry.
Kind Regards
Stu

They sound like 1920s German inflation stamps. Some are worth good money but without seeing them it's impossible to say. If they haven't been used the odds are they're not worth very much.

Where are the four used stamps from Stu?

Hi thanks for the reply, I can see on the '2' the used stamp mark 'WE..AR' (the middle letters are off the edge) dated 2.11.23. 7-8N. There is another '3' stuck behind it appears to be the same. There is a '3' that only shows 3 black lines through it and another '5' from the same post office.
These all appear th be from the same post office.
I just found another couple of unused '50' millionen in another page!
Is it easy to separate the stamps that are stuck together?

Hello Stu, without pictures it will be difficult to give any good information.

The cancel is probably Weimar.

Trying to upload a picture,
Some of the stamps are stuck behind the others from being in between the pages of a book for so many years.

Sorry Stu, but no real value.

Most of them are unused from the hyperinflation period, the 3 brown is from just after the inflation period.

The inflation ones, when used, can be valuable but this also depends on type of print and perforation.

The only stamp I think is nice, is the 1 million stamp, if you look carefully to the left of the 1, the line is broken. This is a well known plate flaw. But it is unused so not valuable.

Thank you very much, I think I'll leave them in the pages where they've been for the last 95 years then.

Cheers Stu
