Ngorongoro Conservation Area is in northern Tanzania. It is home to the vast volcanic crater and "big 5" game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). The stamp depicts Lake Magadi with flocks of greater flamingo.

Point Pelee consists of a peninsula of marsh and woodland habitats that tapers to a sharp point as it extends into Lake Erie. The national park is known for flocks of migratory birds in spring joined by waves of Monarch butterflies in autumn.

Laguna de los Pozuelos National Park is located in the northwest of the province of Jujuy. The lake is know for its great variety of waterfowl and large population of James's Flamingo (Phoenicoparrus jamesi).

Skutustadagigar are pseudocraters at the southern shore of Lake Myvatn. They were formed by gas explosions when boiling lava flowed over the wetlands. The wetlands are preserved and are popular for birdwatching.
