Ireland's 2011 ATM "Native Animals and Marine Life" set feature's a stamp with the image of a European goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis). This bird is native to Europe, North Africa, and Western Asia.  |

While Ireland used a photographic image for their goldfinch atm stamp, the United Kingdom used a graphic approach for their 2010 "post & go" computer-vended stamp.  |

The mute swan (Cygnus olor) is depicted on computer-vended stamps of Ireland (2014) and the U.K. (2011). This bird is native to Europe and Asia, but has been introduced by man to many other parts of the world.  |
