I have a question about 15 die proofs of various vignettes signed by Joseph Keller who worked for the ABNCo for over thirty years. Mr. Keller was a family friend and gave these to my parents over the years. I have photos of Mr, Keller with my dad. My question is to value. I have no idea of their value. Are they of great enough value that I should have them appraised? Most are framed and being used as wall art right now.

Unless the glass in the frame is UV (ultraviolet resistant) then fading/color changeling is a big concern.

The proofs that are framed were done professionally, I hope the glass is UV resistant. They show no signs of fading, I've had them for twenty plus years. I'm going to attach some photos. Anyone have any idea of value?

Those are pretty neat but I do not think those shown are portrayals that appeared on any US postage issues.

They are quite nice and certainly have value, but you may need to take the lot to a specialist in ABNCo or an art shoppe dealing in such material. Can't think of who but certainly they exist. Nicely framed and with provenance I would think not less than $100-200 each?

You have "provenance" which adds value if you keep the story and photos intact with the material.

These appear to be fairly large - like vignettes from stock certificates.

Crouse and John Thanks for your responses. I have 16 of these all signed and dated, in pencil, some are bank notes some postage stamps and some stock certificates. I have seen these on ebay but none are signed. Actually only one is signed by the engraver, it's of a Lincoln stamp it is priced in the thousands. I would be interested if the high value is because of the subject, the specific engraver or the fact that it's signed which adds to it's rarity.
