Rene - on the last group of 7 stamps you've asked about:

(all are in Isfila)

The first 6 are from a series that was issued multiple times, with differing colors & subtle other differences. First few were issued in 1954; then a larger series in 1957 & then another in 1958.

#1 -#2 -#3 -#4 are all from the series issued in 1958.

#6 & #7 (the surcharged ones) are from 1956. Stamp originally issued in 1954 (the 1k w/flag & crescent) & then surcharged in 1956.

Rod's already answered the air defense one. Pages 12-13 in the large turkey thread also talk about these. Some more pix if you're interested:

The 1955 Dark brown 3K shouldn't be there it is the same as the 1958 issue .Need my morning coffee before posting .

surprised to see a nice collection of postal tax,
do we have a closet Turkey collector here?

Nice to see the coarse paper variety, don't recall that one.
