I am sure someone saw the title of this thread and thought I was delving into American politics. Nope! I was going through a small box of mid 50's to 60's covers (FDC and event) from the Philippines and this one caught me by surprise concerning the infamous Pres. Marcos. A double take was definitely in order. Just something of interest I thought I would share today. And stop smuggling!

I suppose we can blame Pres. Marcos for starting all of this. I just read where he was called a KLEPTOCRAT - a ruler who uses his/her power to steal from the country they govern. First time I have heard that term.
