What do you collect, stampwolf? If you'd like, I will look up your collecting interests, and post every ebay lot I find. I am smiling now, as your heart is in the right place. Most who were watching this lot (e.g. me!) now have no hope to get it. The seller didn't really need the free advertising. |

It is already over priced as it is. A couple of nice cancels for that collector but overall, poorly centered used small queens. |

I would buy it in a heartbeat for current midday Sunday price. Bet it sells for 4x that. Maybe I am wrong, time will tell. |

I am so unimpressed, I refuse to comment on this "High" value lot with VF stamps. |

More seriously I have looked at Inverstamp's lots quite a few times before and even bought a couple of small ones.
Their auctions often seem to achieve very good prices and sometimes I have been puzzled that what seem to me like quite ordinary lots realise high prices. I've put that down to my lack of knowledge making me fail to recognise what was there
Perhaps people just like the flawless after sales service, lots I bought were very well packaged and dispatched very promptly - albeit with a rather sternly worded note inside encouraging me to post positive feedback! I put the stern wording down to the fact that English wasn't the writer's first language |

It went for US $192.52 maybe the two mint blocks of four helped the bidding go that high. |

I'll share my thoughts on the lot now. The Small Queens looked nice and fresh, hard to be 100% sure on shades but one block and a single had a chance to be rose carmine 41a. The 10 cent with partial two-ring cancel was a lovely pale milky pink with excellent centering, a desirable stamp all day long if sound. The two-cent block had a faulty stamp LL but there was either a printing flaw LR or it was used - thinking the former.
Even some of the singles were interesting - the Cartier was a slate shade, the 8c a tough to find grey, 10 cent rose had a squared circle precursor, etc. I dropped out at $160, not knowing if the mint was OG or not.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and there's little doubt in my mind the buyer has a good eye for stamps. |

Yeah, and don't forget the 50c Jubilee (with roller cancel) and at least 3 unused 4 leaf queens. Among others. Any of the Small queens unused have a decent CV. Some could have been NH. Cheers! Wolf-==- |

Why would you bid on these items? Who expects to see a genuine mint £5 orange opening for a few quid? |

"We do not guarantee the authenticity of this stamp" should pretty well tell any bidder that it is a forgery. |
