I have quite a few of these, and may post some interesting examples in another thread. However, I found (2) with some very odd inking anomalies, and thought I would ask the group for their opinion. Essentially, how could these happen?

Example 1 is just a simple squiggle on the bottom. Possibly during the cancellation process, but I'm not so sure.

Now this second one is pretty odd. The left border looks like it is twisted, which is impossible. A great optical illusion. Any idea on this one?

First one: appears something lightly scuffed the plate before printing or it was the result of a fiber/hair stuck on the plate that fell off after printing.

Second: looks like a hair dropped on the printing plate.

Agreed with comments above.

Partime--thanks for taking time to share. I suspect that someday, you could write a book on these anomalies
