They are all extremely common stamps with faults and/or poor centering. Value is virtually nil.

Most of these look very common. Thee is an easier way to do what you are after short of a dealer. If you go to www.stamps.org and on their homepage you will find a button "stamp collecting". Click on the button for a drop down list and click on "local clubs".
Find one or more clubs in your area and get in contact with them. They can be of assistance to you. They may either look at it, or ask you to bring it to a meeting. Either way, hands on is always better!

You are ready for a U.S. Scott Catalogue. Most stamps are quite common and printed in large quantities.

Based on what you've posted here this catalog will give you enough information to identify US stamps, it really is a must have for collecting US material.

I would suggest you keep an eye out for the "Broken Hat" variety with the used 2c Columbians, although it is not seen within your stamps. This variety are not difficult to find, and not everyone bothers to check for the slight change. There are some serious collectors who just want them for their used 2c Columbians, instead of the average design in used conditions. Sometimes may bring a slight increase in value. There has been publications written in past about The "broken hat." The appearance is very noticeable within the top line of the 3rd gentleman's hat. The specific gentleman is in the standing position with the cape with sword to his side.
