This cover should speak for itself. It appears that a Spain 1312 was added to the cover and the Killer bars were extended. It is hard to believe that air routes and schedules of the period would have allowed purchase, transport and franking of Spanish stamps on the simultaneous first day of issue. Better fakes may exist. Other opinions?

Only half of the top 2 lines had to be redrawn, and they did a poor job.

Interesting. I guess who ever did this thought it would go unnoticed.
It is a nice cover, too bad they altered it.

Looking from a distance, note the ink gap/step off on the left side of the US stamp. That doesn't happen with the Spanish stamp (and should). From the scan, the "bars" across the added Spanish stamp look gouged in -- are they?

Makes me wonder if other dual issues were manufactured by the same person?
