Here are both sides of a UX19 postal card mailed from Rockville, Indiana to Tangier, Indiana in 1909. The message is a rebus which I have not totally figured out. Front side with "eye" symbol for the 4 occurrences of the letter I. Back side: My interpretation, so far: You are a peach. How I adore you. You are buggy, you are a hive of bees You are so well behaved I _____ _____ you. You are a _______ (bird in the bush?) So I will prepare for a postcard. tenderly yours. Help and alternate interpretations appreciated.

Looks good so far. First missing item could be "add" or "sum".
Note the writer even wrote {eye}ND in the address, and it apparently got there. |

Line 3: Instead of "you are a hive of bees", I think it is "you are full of ____" |

I'm thinking "about" as is "add" and "boot", but that doesn't make much sense. I'm trying to create "adore" instead, but don't quite see it. |

What an exciting postcard to come across! I would guess your "Hive of bees" is actually "Prize of the Flock" |

"postcard" could be "letter postcard" or a "mailed postcard" which makes one wonder why P is circled in peach. |

I think 2 3 - 5 represents the word "addition"

... And, for those (like me) unfamiliar with the term: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RebusQuote: A rebus (/#712;ri#720;b#601;s/) is an allusional device that uses pictures to represent words or parts of words. Nice card & post, JB. Cheers, /s/ ikeyPikey |
