#613 Is There Any Real Believers

Why is it that people refuse to believe that there are #613 out there lost in stamp collection in the us? They know there are but they dont believe that anyone has one. Why is that?

Hi stuck, and welcome to the forum. You should have posted this on the appropriate post - it makes little sense by itself.
But one answer to your question is simple. If someone has a 613 why sell it on ebay rather than though an auction house?

No one has ever found a #613 on ebay. No one has ever come into this forum saying they found a #613 and it turned out top be a actual #613. So it is a pretty safe bet to be doubtful. Is it possible? Sure. It is also possible that some super model will ring my doorbell and run my wife off so she can have me all to herself.

You are, of course, welcome to believe what you wish.

But if you are a true believer in your #613, then I have a deal for you. Please send it in for a cert and if it comes back as a legitimate #613, I will pay for the cert. But if it comes back as something other than a real #613, you foot the bill. If you believe, then this is a no-risk chance to get a free cert (which you would need if you ever go to sell it).
