The Austria-Hungarian Empire cover appears to be in rough condition, but it has really nice clear bulleye TPO postmarks. The photos are hard to make out fill details, but overall postal history is harder to assess value compared to just stamps. There's other factors to consider than just the stamps - there's postmarks (not only the town, but there's many varieties), sender, receiver, how the stamps are used (different rates, solo usages, blocks, etc.), any contents to the covers and of course condition. There's questions to be asked of a few of the other covers - where is that Russian cover coming from and going to? Why are there French stamps on an Ottoman postal envelope? We really cannot see the two bottom covers - too small. If you have access to a scanner, you can make better images.

If there's any value in the Victoria cover it'll depend on which 6d stamp is on the envelope. There are a lot of possibilities!

I'd like to see the cover with the France sower stamps

I don't know China very well, but there has been increasing interest in China postal history (both pre- and post-Revolution) in the last 10-15(?) years, from what I can tell.

Your China cover paying the printed matter rate might be of interest to collectors of that timeframe.

In all, I would say that these covers are more interesting than the most common ones.

(By all means, please don't soak the stamps off the covers -- not that you were planning to do that.)

I agree with all, these are all some nice and interesting examples of postal history. I particularly like the French stamps used at a Military Field office in the Levant, on an Ottoman Postal stationary, quite peculiar!

perf 12 - thank you for the info - I hadn't seen this cancel before

@Fredc - thanks for sharing - do you have any more of these to show us ?

For the Victoria cover, Scott #116 would be SG #136. Note the watermarks in the two catalogues are different and the SG has 13 sub-types. My hat goes off to serious collectors of Victoria, especially by the SG catalogue!

For the cheapest shade in the 2018 SG it's £5.50 with an on cover multiplier of 'from x3'. The 6d rate is for the via Southampton service.

That's OK.
Value is a personal thing, esp with covers.
I have no idea on the value of either, even as a reserve.

What happens, generally,(and personally) I instigate a "watch" option in the appropriate auction, if the item is within my personal budget, I will bid,
If it goes beyond, I delete the auction.

Auction usually dictates a reasonable price, unless very scarce material.
