Askandy: The one cent stamp (Scott catalog #300) on your card, although considered by many a very beautiful stamp, is a very common stamp with over 11 billion printed so has minimal value. Back during it's life time and for some time after, mailing post cards was all the rage and required a one cent stamp for postage. Any interest in the cards would be in the reverse picture or sometimes the writing on it if an interesting message. So maybe you could give yours away to someone who collects postcards.

In your ebay description, did you note the cancel for Bullion, California and that it is a Doane postmark? I don't know about the front, but yes the stamp is common the postmark might not be. The Bullion post office operated from 1904 to 1915.

The Bullion postmark (William's # PLA(cer County) 700 is rated 2 which is common. The same as the Auburn cancel (PLA 340) with it, is also a 2, But that rating does not reflect the actual scarcity of a cancel. California Postmaster Compensation reports (odd numbered years) the Bullion PM earned $197.19 in 1905, $214 in 1907, $80 in 1909 and $5 in 1911, no reports for 1913 or 1915. The same four years, Auburn's PM was paid $1700, $1500, $1600 and $1700 per year. Quite a difference, yet both are "2's".
Apr 17, 1905 is the EKU and Feb 22, 1910 the LKU for the Bullion postmark.
