I recently acquired an old estate of stamps and in a small old stockbook were 40 or so Eastern Rumelia overprinted Turkish stamps to the 5 Piastre. It is far from my field of expertise but after some research I believe that at least a few are Fournier forgeries. Do these have any value as such?

I will try and post some scans shortly.

Fournier was a French forger of stamps. He thought of himself more of an artist than a forger.

According to Fournier's price list he sold only three different RUMELIA stamps .You need to show what you got,my guess it is some later date overprint forgery on Turkish stamps .

There's lots of these for sale on ebay at any given moment. Most are just crude fakes. There's a solid group of Fournier collectors out there as well that will snap them up. Not an area I focus on, but from lots of casual observation, they typically sell in the $5-$10 range. (This is for all of them - without distinguishing between normal forgeries & Fournier...)
