I have this envelope and inside two unused stamps the same as on the envelope. The stamp pair also has some of the extra border (selvage?) They are stuck to the backside of the envelope. Should I separate the front and back covers and soak off the stamps. I should also say that I have many of these stamps on cover. I wanted to get opinions but I think I will separate and soak.
Thanks,
Robert

Might be other techniques for getting the stamps inside the envelope to release.
I assume they weren't purposely applied, which might mean they aren't as solidly stuck.

Perhaps you should leave the Stamps where they are, it will make an interesting topic of conversation for years to come.
Could you get the stamps out by carefully reaching into the envelope with a small paint brush or a Q tip full of Prinz stamp lifting fluid or it's US equivalent

The stamps are solidly stuck. Maybe I will leave it alone.
