Internet Philatelic Dealers Association (Ipda) - Who Are We Why Are We.....

Hello, I am Michael Dodd and I am the General Secretary of the IPDA. Over the past 4 months, along with other Members and the Board of Directors I have been involved in trying to resurrect, shall I say, the IPDA.

You may have heard of the Association. Maybe not. Either way please visit our website at ipdastamp.org a new one (we lost our old one) - yes it needs work - but it does show the basics of who we are and why we are.

If you sell stamps on the Internet (part time or full time), and,
will abide by our Code of Ethics, and,
will be proud to belong to our Association, and display the IPDA membership logo on your website or sales portal, and,
have your customers know you are a respected internet seller, .......then please think of joining us.

If you sell on Hipstamp there is a "chatter" thread about us, with over 400 reads and lots of questions answered. Or, just write to me here or at *** Private information removed by Staff. Please do not post your address/email/phone number etc. *** or better still fill in the online application to join. It is on our website. We are a not for profit Association and the fee to join this year is just USD $10. So it wont be the cost that holds you back :-)

Hello, Nice to see a member here. Like you say I expect there are more. I do hope we get more readers of this thread looking at the new website at ipdastamps.com

Some news though.. we have hit the 90 members mark, and still some in the pipeline. When will we reach 100?

Should not be too long I think.

And, as we grow we have been getting more members from Europe so have now added a very well respected gentleman by the name of Peter de Jong to the Board as Director Europe.

If you are not a member of the IPDA and you sell philatelic materials on the internet and share our views and values, please consider completing the Online Application. We have a set of FAQ
section under About Us and from the drop down Apply to Join menu there is a full "qualifications" which is self explanatory.

If you are a collector and sometimes ask yourself, is this seller a respected and trusted seller?, then please visit our site.
