Benjamin One Cent Stamp.

Can someone please help identify

Star, this is probably the third time I see this stamp in a different post. Am I correct?

I believe that everyone who has a green Franklin or a red Washington stamp just put them away and go buy a lottery ticket. Their odds of striking it rich would be much greater, although I suppose there are many legitimate questions to ID stamps for a general collection where they don't understand flat plate, rotary press, coils, etc.

I have about 3 of these that are different in size and color and many more on old Post cards from 1902 to 1940. I don't know much about stamps and thought maybe I could reach out on this sight for information but the people are rude just because one doesn't know alot or been collecting stamps all their life.. maybe I'll just go buy a lottery ticket!!

Sorry, I understand the need to identify these confusing stamps to get them in the correct place in your album, however, I still think that the majority of these 1 cent Franklins are hoped (hopeless) to be the $50,000 one. Don't even get me started about the "rare" red line Washingtons. As in most cases, the references on this board to stampsmarter is the best way to wade through the ID process as perforations, watermarks, etc. are impossible to discern from a picture.
