This is described as a "Tiny Margin Flaw" - Looks like a whole replaced corner to me!

If interested, ask Bill for a scan of the back. As it is I would not touch it

IMO you should never buy a stamp like that without a cert. If it looks like a bargain it probably isn't.

Guess everybody's interpretation of "tiny" is different.

As you probably know, early Hawaii material is very popular, and pricey. As a result, a whole lot of the material out there has been 'worked-on'.

You have to be careful. I recall attending a major Hawaii sale several decades ago. I personally viewed all of the lots. This was high-end well known stuff - covers mostly, and almost every lot had had some work done on it. Much of it sensible, but some of it very very extensive, that wasn't immediately obvious.

If I were to guess, I'd say this particular one will probably be a genuine stamp that has had a fair amount of work done on it.

This should definitely not be touched, however, without condition of a PFC. Off-hand, it appears way overpriced for its likely condition.

Boo hoo Bill Langs. He does answer a telephone call though. Call him. Must be certified in any case.
