I have all the issued stamps of the DDR, and will post them as a reference resource.
1949East Germany - Deutsche Post stamp, 1949 75th Anniversary of UPU, 50Pf blue, Issued 9/10/1949. Michel DDR 242
CV **13.00, *3.50 o 24.00.
Abbreviations: ** Mint never hinged. * Mint hinged. o Used. c on cover. Wz Watermark type.
The Watermark type can make a vast amount of difference with these stamps: On Michel 353, Wz XI is 1.20, Wz XII is 2500.00. Not all prices are quite so different though. :D
Only the earliest stamps of the DDR are priced hinged. From 1955, Michel 447, they are priced as Mint Never Hinged only.
PLEASE NOTE:Cat values given are for the cheapest sort.
