World War 2 Letters, V-Mail!! Check It Out!

Anyone who can help me learn a bit about these?

The V-Mail was for forces on active duty during WWII. To save space, soldiers mail was photographed & the resulting films (taking up much less space in the planes) were posted back to central offices where they were developed, printed & then mailed out in those special window envelopes. Make sure you keep the envelopes with the photo/letter, collectors like to show both.

You have a couple of better V-mail letters there, with pictures, sometimes drawn by the sender or provided to the sender. The great majority are written letters only.

There are also references around to find the originating location based on the APO number and date. I believe they are mentioned in threads in the archives here.

APO 526 was Atcham, England until August of 1944 and then it was in France.
