Am I Correct In Thinking This Is 24 (Type V)?

Is this Type V? All the other types are much more expensive. Also, the circle around Ben's head is very clear.

Perhaps more significant, is this a real stamp? It is in remarkably good condition for such an old piece of paper. looks uncanceled, and I see no evidence of it ever being hinged. It has no gum. It look and feels like a real stamp.

Yes, it is Type V. Whenever you see side scratches such as those indicated below you have a Type V (though not all Type V's have them).

...and possibly one of the poorest/crudest reperfs I've seen in a while. I'd assume the cancel used to be in the top margin, LOL.

Yes, I knew the perfs were odd, but this is among the first U.S. stamps to be perfed. I have very little experience with stamps this old, so I had no clue what the perfs should look like.
