I hope I can ask the question here. I am trying to find a supplier in either Canada or USA which has good prices for those mounts but the suppliers I find don't have the right sizes for Great Britain stamps. And the one I found in Great Britain which can ship here is almost double the price.

Do you guys have companies you could recommend? I like Prinz mounts because they open in the middle but as long as they have a black back, I am open to other companies.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link but they don't have the right sizes. I need sizes like 35x35 and 37x35...

Try www.unitradeassoc.com since their Uni-Safe stamp mounts are made by Prinz.

I would recommend purchasing strips and cutting them yourself. If you like to order small orders, Global Stamps is a quick good source with free shipping over $25.

Are you wanting split back mounts or the ones with open tops. If the latter, you can cut down mounts from a larger size.

Global Stamps has been my go-to for mounts for years, and they have a large assortment of Scott mounts. They are made by Prinz in Germany so you are safe ordering from them.

I have been getting mine from Wizard Coin Supply- which also has stamp collecting supplies. I have gotten good service from them- although I don't see the precut mounts you're looking for on their site. You might try cutting them with a Showguard cutter. I find the mounts you cut yourself often fit better. And, if you're not married to Prinz mounts Showguard has an inexpensive gauge you can use to find the right mount size for your stamp. In any case Wizard stocks both brands as well as Hawid. Check them out here: https://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/

CP2018, did you try www.fvhstamps.com.

They sell lighthouse brand and have the sizes you want and have split back black or clear mounts. You may have to buy a mount cutter and cut longer strips but it also allows you to custom fit unused uncommon leftover ones.

They are in B.C. Canada, so you don't have to worry about adding duty and customs and handling fee at Post office. Especially with a 30% + dollar differential it just did not compute to savings. They use recent postage and souvenir sheets, cancel and protect the stamps with plastic, and they even pay you back 1/2 of the shipping cost including tax if you return used postage.

I have no bias toward any particular dealer and do purchase when the price is economicaly favorable. I do purchase from them and it is worth a look to compare in my opinion.
