1938 Jamaica 10/- block of 4. I've never seen this stamp in a block so not sure how scarce multiples are. Can anyone identify the cancel? Postal or fiscal?

Nice block. It's unlikely to be a telegraph cancel with £2 face value (a lot of money) and a really neat SOTN. There looks like another part of a similar cancel at he bottom. It is likely to be a postal cancel.

Agree with Geoff Ha, Whitfield Town. Now all can figure out what's at the bottom.

Thanks all. I should have clarified that I've never seen a used block. I know unused blocks of 4 are quite common but I can't believe that a block of 4 used would be common and as Tim mentioned 2 pounds was a bit of money in 1938 or thereabouts. The retro reveal image was about the best of the bunch but I will play with it a little more to see if I can provide a better image of he cancel. If it is postal use I'd imagine it's a $20.00 piece where if fiscal a quarter of that at best.

Hopefully this helps

*Edit* I concur that it is a Whitfield Town Birmingham cancel.

It appears that it was used in 1958 which is about 6 years after King George VI's reign ended.
But still a nice item.
