An envelope of 1889 from ottoman empire at crete any info and evaluation will be appreciate.

I think 30-40 euros would be a fair price for this cover front..(damaged stamps)

The price for the stamps yes, but as far as I read the cancellations are rare to find.

It's always interesting to see Crete items like this.

However, the Chania part cover doesn't excite me much.

There are too many faults for me, both to the cover and to the stamps.

The bilingual HANIA postmark is the commonest of the Turkish Crete postmarks (closely followed by the bilingual CANDIA postmark).

I prefer the ebay lot but again the stamps have too many faults for me.

For rarer postmarks I would be happy to include lower quality items in my collection.
