Looks like albums that were picked through for the better items. The three I looked through would probably pull $20 each at my local club, and that is primarily for the album and pages. I was very unimpressed.

Would have been even better as one lot. I wonder how many stamps were in all those albums.

Stupid way to sell it ,once you sell the first volume ,lets say $200.00 ,the rest of all the other volumes fall in price ,once broken it loose a great part of its value . That should be sold intact .

Scott blue Int'l collections at regular auctions (not ebay) generally go for around 1-3 cents per stamp, with the expectation that there won't be anything above $100 catalog or so (first off, because blue Internationals don't have many high-value spaces, and secondly because the best stamps/sets may have been picked.) Maybe a little more if it's a complete set of albums in nice condition, or if the albums are very full.

I'd use that as guidance with ebay collections, as well; you can generally do a lot better than $150 for 2,000 different stamps (as in the first link).

I bought two multiple Blue Intl. collections in the past, one in the late 1980s and one in the late 1990s. Still have several binders from both, but slowly getting rid of them as part of my downsizing. Both collections had a number of stamps in the $20 to $100 Scott catalog range & a few above.

However, both sets had been banged around a bit, like these particular albums. Here, pages are yellowing on the top and some are not even, meaning maybe some have torn loose. Most of the binders have been banged around some. I get an impression this set was perhaps stored in a high humidity place. I can't agree with Partime and codehappy without seeing the inside of each binder. But I suspect their assessments of value are probably accurate.
