What am I missing here?
There's an offer in ebay of Penny black starting at 1 cent. Can it be real?

Yes it's real and the seller will probably get top dollar for it. The seller has a big ebay following.

It is not an offer. This is an auction, lasting 9 plus days. The real action will take place in the last 10 seconds of the auction. Stamp looks OK to me, and will sell for a three figure amount, I would guess.

Thanks. I know it's an auction, just that I saw other offers starting much higher, or clearly stating that it's a replica/forgery/faximilia.

This stamp will probably not go for anything less than £100

It's the real deal and so is Momen even with his quirks.

And what do you think of this? He offers several Penny black with a suspiciously small pic of the stamps.

They also look OK to me - even though condition is not the best.

I notice a number of penny blacks sold by momen with the back of the stamps having scrape marks. Not sure if it is due to poor handling by them with the tweezers.

The Penny Black with most of the value missing is not worth much, it will be a generous person who would give anything more than $50 for it.
